LEADERSHIP

The New York State Grange Institute for Leadership Development was established to improve the leadership in the Grange and in local communities.  Over the past several years several individuals have completed a multilevel course to enable them to facilitate leadership seminars.

In 2008 a series of leadership seminars will be presented to local groups of Granges.  These seminars will be presented over several months which include:  Planning skills, Telling the Grange Story, Passing the Torch of Leadership, and Personality IQ (Working with People).  The seminars will be held on a local basis with several Granges involved.  Travel time and distance will be short.  The seminar should be able to be completed in one evening.  After all seminars are completed the facilitation team will conduct a session with each Grange to help plan the future of that Grange.

Please contact Al and Vinni Kirmss for more information:  E-mail Avkirmss@aol.com  or 518-756-8721 or 1362 SR 143, Coeymans Hollow, NY  12046.

"The Grange provides the opportunity, the people provide the leadership, the community reaps the benefits."
